CROSSFIT LEADERBOARD GUIDE

Custom CrossFit leaderboards: how to create friendly group challenges

Every box has small groups that train together, know each other, and have their own way of throwing down. One leaderboard for the whole box does not have to be the only option.

In brief

In brief

ChalkClash lets you create leaderboards with a name, period, scoring mode, and selected members. A community can keep a general comparison while adding smaller, more personal throwdowns.

THE COMMUNITY HAS LEVELS

The box leaderboard is not always enough

A general leaderboard creates a meeting point, but athletes do not all want the same comparison. Some want to compete with the morning class, others with training partners or a small friend group.

Smaller leaderboards lower the barrier to participation: the comparison feels closer and personal enough to make people want to return.

  • Friends who train together.
  • Groups split by class or time.
  • Athletes with a shared benchmark or goal.

EVERYDAY THROWDOWNS

The challenge can have the right boundary

A custom leaderboard does not have to exclude the rest of the clan. It can be an additional context built around a relationship or a specific goal.

The point is to give every athlete more than one way to take part in the box's competitive life.

  • A general leaderboard for the community.
  • A private throwdown for friends.
  • A monthly leaderboard for a shared goal.

CHALKCLASH

Choose people, period, and philosophy

In ChalkClash each member can create a custom leaderboard by selecting participants, daily, weekly, or monthly periods, and Standard or Unified scoring. The leaderboard becomes a small competitive room inside the clan.

  • Selected members.
  • Daily, weekly, or monthly periods.
  • Standard or Unified scoring.
